17.02.2020

In order to organize the second edition of the event, to be held on June 4 and 5, 2020, at the Antoine Abbadie Congress Center, in Hendaye, the Euroregion Nouvelle-Aquitaine Euskadi Navarra met on February 7 with cross-border public actors such as Hacienda Foral de Gipuzkoa (taxes), Pôle Emploi de Saint-Jean de Luz, Direction départementale des finances publiques (DDFIP) – Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Hacienda Foral de Navarre (taxes), Direccte, URSSAF, Service Navarrais d’Emploi, CPAM Bayonne, CARSAT Aquitaine, Lanbide-Eures Gipuzkoa, Lanbide Irun-Fontarrabie, and Servicio Público de Empleo Estatal – SEPE Gipuzkoa.

The aim of the event is to provide cross-border workers with information about their rights and duties towards the competent institutions on both sides of the border. In 2019, about a hundred workers attended it.

This year, to respond to workers requests, the day schedules will be extended and without breaks. On June 4, the event will be from 9h30 to 17h30. On June 5, from 9h30 to 14h.

In addition, a new step is taken with the organization of a conference dedicated to the posting of workers. The purpose is to explain all the rights and duties in terms of posting, in order to facilitate the application of Directive (EU) 2018/957, which must apply from July 2020 in all member states.

Further information will be delivered before the event.
