These three priorities are mutually reinforcing and should help the EU and the Member States to achieve high levels of employment, productivity and social cohesion.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, the COMPET\u2019plus project, \u201cBusiness Competitiveness &amp; Innovation Platforms for the relocation of activities in the cross-border area, the creation of reinforced value chains, and the cooperation between SMEs and driving companies\u201d \u2013 a European project selected and 65% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg V-A Spain France Andorra programme (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.poctefa.eu\/\">POCTEFA 2014-2020<\/a> &#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/regional_policy\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DG REGIO<\/a>) funds, with a budget of \u20ac862,895 inclusive of taxes \u2013 aims to\u00a0<strong>boost the entrepreneurial competitiveness and innovation of SMEs<\/strong>\u00a0by measuring cross-border economic flows between the 3 territories involved,\u00a0<strong>identifying leading SMEs, start-ups, and technology centres with high added value in 4<\/strong>\u00a0converging S3\u00a0<strong>areas<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Energy<\/li>\n<li>Mobility<\/li>\n<li>Agri-food<\/li>\n<li>Creative Industries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>POCTEFA aims to reinforce the economic and social integration of the French\u2013Spanish\u2013Andorran border. Its support is focused on developing economic, social and environmental cross-border activities through joint strategies favouring sustainable territorial development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The objective of COMPET\u2019plus is to <em class=\"animated\">create 2 innovation platforms<\/em>\u00a0that will promote collaborative work between driving leading companies and supplier companies (SMEs and local companies) in order to generate a joint technological offer.
